Starting Tuesday, January 26, travelers entering the U.S. must provide either proof of a negative COVID test taken within the previous three days*, or documentation that they have recovered from Covid.
Yay, this is overdue, since this COVID travel requirement of incoming travelers has been in place elsewhere for months.
And my next thought is for you:
Getting a COVID test in the country(ies) you visit before flying home should not be an obstacle for you since you have me and my partners worldwide who have already been helping with this for months.
“For instance, now in my trip planning – in addition to finding you the best places to stay for social distancing and enjoying the outdoors – I find the easiest ways to get the correct required COVID testing done within the necessary time frame in ways that do not cut into your vacation or travel time.” ~Theresa Jackson, Travel Advisor
In some cases, this is done right at your resort. My in-country destination experts and I are constantly researching and sourcing the fastest, most convenient ways for you to get tested abroad. We’ve arranged the necessary on-site Covid tests everywhere from
- the Maldives,
- the Caribbean,
- Costa Rica,
- Ecuador and the Galapagos,
- Greece, and
to name a few I have worked on for clients’ travel itineraries this past fall and those booking now for travel in 2021.
Frankly, this is just one more example of how the right Travel Advisor can spare you so many of the hassles and logistics of travel – and why they are now even more useful to you than ever.
The world of travel has a few more pieces to the puzzle, but this doesn’t have to be difficult or deter you from your dream.
